Claire is a creative and thoughtful communications and engagement consultant with a scientific background. She provided a communications and engagement strategy for the International Year of Plant Health in Australia in 2020. Claire listened and took the views of the committee overseeing the year in Australia, and worked with the communications staff involved, to develop a comprehensive and innovative strategy. While not all of her ideas were able to be adopted because of time and financial constraints, the strategy set course for the implementation of the year in Australia, including the dedicated website, events and communications around the country.
