Communication and marketing services for science, engineering, tech
Work with us
Scientists, engineers, innovators, if your goal is to create positive change we want to help you connect with others to make change faster.
We believe that when communities understand and can adopt evidence-based information as part of a shared innovation ecosystem, everyone is better off. People are able to make more informed decisions that benefit their communities, and, step by step, create better societies.
We work with clients who are passionate about the bigger picture. They know that their work is important, beyond clocking up academic papers, and they want to see it contribute to a better future.
Some of our clients
Claire is a creative and thoughtful communications and engagement consultant with a scientific background. She provided a communications and engagement strategy for the International Year of Plant Health in Australia in 2020. Claire listened and took the views of the committee overseeing the year in Australia, and worked with the communications staff involved, to develop a comprehensive and innovative strategy.
While not all of her ideas were able to be adopted because of time and financial constraints, the strategy set the course for the implementation of the year in Australia, including the dedicated website, events, and communications around the country.
Claire worked with UNSW Canberra to develop a series of training resources for the University’s website editors, equipping them with the skills necessary to effectively write for the web.
She demonstrated strong attention to detail and created resources that encapsulated writing for the web basics and search engine optimisation, as well as the University’s tone of voice, brand, and style guide.
Claire’s work was highly valued during a very busy period for the media and content team. She is efficient, flexible, and organised and these resources will continue to be used by our web editors into the future.
It was wonderful to have an experienced, professional communicator who could help us with a major project during a very busy period for the University.
I would happily work with Innovate Communicate again as it was an easy process and reassuring to know that a major project for the University was in safe hands.

She is able to distill complex ideas into simple and readily usable insights, which is a valuable skill in itself. However, Claire’s experience and expertise also provided our participants with a sense that they are in ‘safe hands’ – and with Claire, they most certainly are.
